Here's what our snowmen looked like on Friday morning, when we built them.
Saturday morning they started to melt... and lean. We kept expecting the one on the left, "Lola" to fall over, but instead they are just getting buried.
Here they are on Sunday afternoon
and then here they are again on Monday afternoon
Here's a picture of our house. We took it while out for a walk. It's so pretty! I love it!
Here's Chad shoveling snow. We attempted to get a REAL snow shovel, but the stores nearby are sold out... so he's using our small square shovel. It was a lot of work, but will make it possible to get out of the driveway if we need to drive somewhere. After he did the shoveling, it was only about 2 hours later, and there was another 2 or 3 inches collected on the driveway.
The snow is so deep, that the lights in our grass, which are staked in the ground, and about 8 inches tall, are completely buried. They gave off a lovely green glow. I can't believe they are still working! We did have the outdoor outlets fixed up this summer, so if they do short out, they'll turn off, but not cause any other problems.

That looks so wild - the lights buried in the snow and glowing green! We just returned from Truckee from a week with Jena nd her fam for the holiday. Lots of snow there too. What fun for all! (I'm just glad I am not the one that had to blow/shovel it!)
Wow, that's a lot of snow for the valley. The lights did look beautiful. It looks like you might have had a white christmas. Lola and Hans were a kick.
